Build the coworker you would want

Six people, remote across Europe. We use what we build all day, which is why the small things keep getting fixed.

  • Remote in Europe
  • Four hours of overlap
  • Two weeks together a year

The team

DBRCANPSLTJM

Six people in Bratislava, Berlin and Porto.

And the agents that work here

They do support triage, the morning digest and the release notes. If one is bad at your job, you are the person who fixes it.

How we hire

Two weeks, four steps, no homework marathon

No cover letter, no take-home you do for free, no eight rounds. If we go quiet on you, that is a bug; write to us again.

  1. 1Week 1

    A reply

We read every letter ourselves and answer, yes or no, within a week.

  2. 2Week 1

    A call

Thirty minutes with whoever you would work with. No panel, no riddles.

  3. 3Week 2

    A paid half-day

A real problem from our backlog, paid at your day rate. You keep the work either way.

  4. 4Week 2

    The offer

A chat with the other two, then numbers in writing the same day.

What comes with it

  • Equity, spelled out

Every offer says the percentage, the strike price and what it is worth if nothing changes.

  • Remote, four hours of overlap

Work where you like in Europe. Be around 11:00 to 15:00 CET; the rest is yours.

  • 25 days off, and we mean it

Plus your local holidays. Nobody here has an untaken balance at the end of the year.

  • The machine you want

€2,500 for a laptop and whatever else makes the desk usable, refreshed every three years.

  • Two weeks together a year

Once in spring, once in autumn, somewhere reachable by train where possible.

  • A day a week to learn

Friday is for reading what shipped, trying things and writing them up. It is not a sprint day.

The fastest way to understand the job is to use the thing

Make an account, give an agent a job, and tell us in your letter what you would change first. That paragraph gets read before anything else you send.
